Join Mouse River Players as they host the Nu Notes for a night of song! Proceeds from the event will help fund the Capital Campaign as we look forward to renovating our lobby and facade!
Nu Notes is a singing group that is part of the Delta Kappa Gamma (DKG) – Nu Chapter, group of educators. It began in 2007 when Sandra Starr (director) listened to the group caroling at Christmas time; she realized many could sing together and asked how many were interested. Nu Notes was born.
The first singing gig was at a DKG State Convention; the group sang “Sister Act” along with the “Irish Blessing”. Ann Latimer mentioned the Nu Notes to her husband, Lowell, and he booked us to sing for a number of conventions in Minot.
Since then, Nu Notes have traveled to sing in Nashville at the International DKG Convention, Spearfish, SD for a Regional DKG convention, plus various locations for many different organizations across the state.
