A highly theatrical story, moving, amusing, and always tellingly human of nine orphans on an Orphan Train that left New York City on May 28, 1914, and traveled to midwestern towns in search of homes for the children.
Back by popular demand, The Orphan Train played to sold out audiences when it debuted on our stage.
It has been 11 years since Mouse River Players presented The Orphan Train in 2007. The children who portrayed the orphans then are all grown up now. We will be inviting the alumni of the 2007 production to return to portray adult roles in this new production.
